Paul Albert Griffith, 66, of 733 S. West End Blvd. died Friday, Feb. 17, 1995, at his home.
He was born July 10, 1928, at Steeleville, Ill., the son of Louis A. and Flora Lohman Griffith. He and Betty Hoffman were married Oct. 23, 1947, at Cape Girardeau.
He owned and operated Griffith Orthotics in Cape Girardeau for 30 years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral, Knights of Columbus for over 45 years, Travelers Protection Association for over 30 years, and the Historical Association of Greater Cape Girardeau for over 20 years. He was a past member of the Kiwanis Club of Cape Girardeau and the Elks Lodge.
Survivors include his father; his wife; his stepmother, Mary Griffith; three sons, Michael, Robert and Steven Griffith all of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Mary Joseph and Becky Griffith of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Roy Griffith of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Ann Desmarais of Manchester, N.H.; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau, where a Knights of Columbus rosary will be held at 7:30. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Cathedral.
Monsignor Richard Rolwing will officiate, and burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
