PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Patsy E. Lukefahr, 84, of Perryville died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, at Holiday Residential Care Center in Perryville.
She was born April 18, 1931, in Friedheim, daughter of Fred William and Mabel Thoroughman Oehl. She and Leroy W. Lukefahr were married June 25, 1950. He preceded her in death June 19, 2005.
Patsy was a homemaker, a caring and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved to serve God by serving others with her cooking and baking. Her family was the joy of her life. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, LWML, pray-er for the Immanuel Lutheran Prayer Chain, Tuesday afternoon Bible study group, past server for the Immanuel Lutheran food pantry and board of social ministry.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter, Daniel Lukefahr, Carol (Wayne) Taylor and Dean (Tammie) Lukefahr, all of Perryville; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one son, David.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be in Crossroads Methodist Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to LWML, the Immanuel Lutheran Church food pantry, the American Cancer Society or charity of choice.
