Patsy Lankford

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Patsy J. Lankford, 71, of Perryville died Monday, May 21, 2007, at her home.

She was born Nov. 3, 1935, in Perryville, daughter of Wallace T. and Pearl Cecelia Colbert Hunt.

Lankford was a retired school bus driver. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church at Sereno, Mo., AmVets Auxiliary Post 94 and River Hills Eagles Aerie 4034.

Survivors include a son, Larry Lankford of Festus, Mo.; five daughters, Brenda Stark, Cindy Schremp and Carla Schremp of Perryville, Vicky Lankford and Debbie Boyer of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Wayne Hunt of Perryville; a sister, Jean Ann Ziegler of St. Louis; a half sister, Betty Prost of Perryville; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents, three sisters, a brother and a great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to service time Wednesday at Young & Sons Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Francis Agnew officiating.
