MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Patsy Heffner Hastings, 75, of Marble Hill died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Sept. 14, 1932, in St. Louis County, Mo., daughter of Harry I. and Marie Meehan Heffner. She first married Sandy Bullock in 1950. MARBLE HILL, Mo. — Patsy Heffner Hastings, 75, of Marble Hill died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 14, 1932, in St. Louis County, Mo., daughter of Harry I. and Marie Meehan Heffner. She first married Sandy Bullock in 1950. She then married Sam Massa in 1954, then in 1961 she married William Franklin Hastings.

Mrs. Hastings was an LPN at a hospital in Cape Girardeau and a member of St. John's Catholic Church at Leopold, Mo.

Survivors include six sons, Larry (Gladys) Massa, Terry (Rhonda) Massa, Tim (Denise) Hastings, all of Marble Hill, Randy (Patti) Massa of Glenallen, Mo., Jeff (Barbara) Hastings of Evans, Ga., Robin (Kim) Hastings of McKinney, Texas; one daughter, Cindy Bullock of Marble Hill; two brothers, Kenneth and Richard Heffner, both of Marble Hill; a sister, Janice Christakis of Marble Hill; 19 grandchildren; five nephews; and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Sammy Andrew Massa; and two brothers, Bill and Jim Malicuit.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, with a rosary at 7 p.m.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Dr. John Englehart officiating. Burial will follow at the Baker Cemetery near Marble Hill.
