Patsy Eaker

Patsy Jean Eaker, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021 at The Lutheran Home.

She was born July 30, 1935, in Cape Girardeau to Roy McLain and Mary Elizabeth Goode McLain. She and Jim Eaker were married Sept. 16, 1961, in Jackson. He preceded her in death in 2010.

She attended College High.

She worked in sales with Biederman's Furniture and worked for the City of Cape Girardeau for 11 years.

Patsy worked with children in the Awana Program, sang and lead the choir and started the Christmas open mic at Red Star and Southside Baptist churches.

She was a member of Red Star Baptist Church and Southside Baptist Church.

Survivors include son, Ronald David Eaker of Brownsburg, Indiana; brother-in-law, Gary Garner; and sister-in-law, Diane Garner, both of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

There will be a private funeral service. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
