DEXTER, Mo. -- Patrick David Rice, 36, of Dexter died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2003, at his home.
He was born March 9, 1966, in Grapevine, Texas, son of George Duran and Carol Jean Burns Rice.
Rice was employed at Tyson Foods in Dexter. He was a member of Smith Avenue Church of God in Sikeston, Mo.
Survivors include his adoptive father and stepmother, David and Becky Rice of Jackson; biological father, George Duran of Dexter; two brothers, Justin Rice of Chicago, Shaun Duran of Dexter; a sister, Chrysta Null of Leora, Mo.; maternal grandmother, Esther Burns of Dexter; and maternal grandfather and stepgrandmother, Lee Roy and Elizabeth Burns of Dexter.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother.
Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ira Sandefur officiating. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery.
