Patrick Clayborne Davis Jr., 66, of Highland, Calif., formerly of Sikeston, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 1997, at Veteran's Hospital in Loma Linda, Calif. He was born Jan. 7, 1931, in Sikeston, son of the late Patrick C. and Eunice Kaiser Davis, Sr. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, 1949 graduate of Sikeston High School, a graduate of Redlands University in Redlands, Calif., and worked as a school administrator at several California schools...

Patrick Clayborne Davis Jr., 66, of Highland, Calif., formerly of Sikeston, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 1997, at Veteran's Hospital in Loma Linda, Calif.

He was born Jan. 7, 1931, in Sikeston, son of the late Patrick C. and Eunice Kaiser Davis, Sr. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, 1949 graduate of Sikeston High School, a graduate of Redlands University in Redlands, Calif., and worked as a school administrator at several California schools.

He was an assistant athletic director at Stanford University in Palo Alto, Calif., an assistant athletic director at San Jose State University and Humbolt State University in California, an assistant superintendent of schools in Eldorado, Calif., and after retiring he worked as a real estate broker in San Bernardino, Calif.

He is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Tosha of Highland, Calif., and Debbie Laliberte of San Bernardino, Calif.; one brother, John Davis of Sikeston; two sisters, Louise Davis Chandler of Fenton and Imogene Davis LaPlant of Sikeston; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother.

Friends may call after noon Saturday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel with the Rev. Dr. Jim Guffie, Pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. A private burial will be at the Sikeston City Cemetery.
