PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Patrick L. Cox, 47, of Perryville died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2000, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 4, 1952, in Farmington, Mo. His stepfather was Erwin Weygandt and his mother was Hilda Weygandt Marmon. He married Paula Sterling on June 27, 1975. She survives.
He was a self-employed truck driver, a Baptist, and a member of AmVets Post 94, River Hills Eagles Lodge 4034, Elks Lodge 2701 and VFW Post 4282. He served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
Also surviving are two sons, Patrick Cox and Bill Joe Cox, both of Macon, Mo.; a daughter, Tina Cox of Perryville; and a brother, Michael Cox of St. James, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather.
Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. today and Saturday from 6:30 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. at Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville. The Rev. Don Estes will officiate.
Burial will be at Home Cemetery.
