CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Patricia Kay Simpson, 57, of Carbondale died Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, at her home.
She was born Aug. 9, 1951, daughter of Eugene and Edith Spiceland Simpson.
Simpson was a 1970 graduate of Cairo High School in Cairo, Ill. She was a member of University Baptist Church and vacation Bible school volunteer.
Survivors include her father of Cairo; six brothers, Ronnie and Paul Simpson of St. Louis, Kevin Simpson of Wickliffe, Ky., Alan Simpson of Evansville, Ind., David Simpson of Cobden, Ill., Gene Simpson of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Vicki Masterson of Hanson, Ky., Valerie Ting and Joyce Tally of Carbondale.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
The service will be at 11 a.m. today at First Southern Baptist Church in Cairo, with the Rev. Ronald Simpson officiating.
