Patricia Rankin

Patricia Ann Rankin, 89, left this earth to join her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019, at noon, while living at her daughter's home in Chandler, Arizona.

She was born Dec. 1, 1929, to Ira and Hazel Hyslop in Bloomfield, Missouri. She married Marshall Rankin on April 20, 1947. He preceded her in death July 6, 2012.

They had three children, Mark Rankin of Benton, Missouri; Marsha (Rodney) Lacy of Mesa, Arizona; and Melanie (Rick) Shultz of Chandler.

Patricia cherished her six grandchildren, Michelle (Josh) Lacy-Abercrombie, Brandon Lacy, Jessica Rankin, Bailey Shultz, Briana Shultz and Patrick Shultz. In addition, she was blessed with three great-grandchildren, Logan Rankin, and soon to officially join the family, Elaina and Willow Abercrombie. Also surviving is her brother, Jerry (Jodie) Hyslop of Sikeston, Missouri.

Patricia was formerly employed by Davis-Hemphill Clinic in Bloomfield, Shoss Radiology Group in Cape Girardeau and First Church of the Nazarene in Cape Girardeau.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. April 20 at Unity Baptist Church in Benton, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
