Patricia Owen

Patricia Mae Owen, 61, of Scott City died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 18, 1948, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of Woodrow Persian and Laverna Mae Eifert Clark. Patricia married John Alan Owen on Oct. 10, 2002, at Benton, Mo. He preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 2003.

She worked as a medical technician at Gastroenterology Associates in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City and its Ladies Sodality.

Survivors include two daughters, Beth (Larry) Bahr and Shauna O'Gara of Scott City; two brothers, Ronnie Clark of Cape Girardeau and Mike Clark of Jackson; a sister, Shirley Raines of Scott City; three grandchildren, Valerie, Jason and Amber; and a great-granddaughter, Addyson.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Diana Clark.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Parish prayers will be at 6 p.m. and a Knights of Columbus service will be at 6:15 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, celebrated by the Rev. Oliver Clavin. Burial will follow in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
