Patricia McDermott

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Patricia A. McDermott, 75, of Perryville died Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at her home.

She was born Feb. 12, 1929, in St. Louis, daughter of Hugh and Adele Costello Finnegan. She and Dr. Alfred E. McDermott were married Sept. 18, 1954. He died Feb. 21, 1998.

McDermott was office manager and accountant for her husband's medical practice. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.

Survivors include three daughters, Sharon Hoeh of Perryville, Maura Buchheit of Belleview, Mo., Kate Barteau of Kirksville, Mo.; two sons, Hugh McDermott of Manhattan, N.Y., Brian McDermott of Perryville; a sister, Maureen Huck of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandchild.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 5 to 9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30 to 10:20 a.m. Parish prayers will be at 6 tonight. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Friday.

The funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Church. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
