BELLEVILLE, Ill. — Patricia Leeann Martin, 33, of Belleville passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023, at her home.

Patricia was born Oct. 5, 1989, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to Gary Donald and Greta Vaughn Martin.

After attending Bloomfield (Missouri) High School, she applied for and was accepted into the Building Union Diversity Program with the Trades Union of St. Louis, where she was currently serving her apprenticeship. She enjoyed painting and going to movies. She had the ability to make you "gut hurt laugh".

Survivors include her mother, Greta Martin of Jackson; two sisters, Lisa (Shannon) Bollinger of Annapolis, Missouri, and Bonnie (Ryan) Smith of Jackson; along with three aunts, six nephews, many cousins and lots of friends.

She was preceded by her father, Gary Martin.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday, March 8, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral service will be at noon Wednesday, March 6, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Griffin officiating. Burial will follow at New Morley Cemetery in Morley, Missouri

Memorials may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
