Patricia Ann Huttegger, 70, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Park Hills, Mo., went peacefully to her Lord Jesus on Monday, July 30, 2012, surrounded by family and loved ones.
She was born June 23, 1942, to Alvin and Mary Miller of Esther, Mo. She married the love of her life, Eugene A. Huttegger, on May 25, 1968.
Pat's nursing career encompassed 25 years of service at Saint Francis Medical Center, Southeast Missouri State University as a nursing instructor and 23 years of service at Visiting Nurse Association.
She was a member of Maple United Methodist Church, where she held positions as Sunday school secretary and church council secretary over the years.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Mark (Gina Harper) Masters of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Lisa (Daniel) Newcomer of Jackson; two stepdaughters, Tammy Sellers of Cape Girardeau, Pamela (Woody) Woodruff of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren, Caleb and Keera Newcomer of Jackson; four stepgrandchildren, two great-stepgrandchildren; two brothers, Alvin (Mary) Miller of Excelsior Springs, Mo., Marvin (Kathy) Miller of Springfield, Mo.; three nieces; and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a stepdaughter, Juli Huttegger.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Schultz officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
