Patricia "Pat" Green, 78, passed away Sunday, Oct. 4, 2020, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 3, 1942, in Cape Girardeau to the late Raymond and Beulah Dempster Leible. On Jan. 21, 1959, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, she married Bill Green, who preceded her in death Aug. 31, 2019.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Sikeston, Missouri. Pat and her husband, Bill, owned and operated Bill Green Equipment from 1987 until 2007. She was a member of Altrusa Club and Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid Scott Central Braves basketball fan as well as a St. Louis Cardinals fan. Pat's hobbies included working puzzles, reading, watching FOX News channel, going to the NWTF banquets and collecting nativity scenes.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Angela Green of Sikeston; brothers and sisters-in-law, Chuck and Terri Leible of Sikeston, John and Melissa Leible of Sikeston and Bob and Ann Leible of St. Louis; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and John McClung of Sun City Center, Florida; grandchildren, Amanda Green of Oran, Missouri, and Heather (Brandon) Hoyer and Hillary (Trey) Oetting, both of Sikeston; stepgranddaughter, Sarah Robinson (Justin Blaylock); eight great-grandchildren; and two great-stepgrandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Steven Green, and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Mike Wondel, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Sikeston, officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Morley, Missouri.
Pallbearers will be Ricky George, Carl Eftink, Don Chance, Mike Green, Jeff Green and Mark Deane.
