BIRCH TREE, Mo. -- Patricia Nicholson Benton, 80, of Kansas City, Mo., passed away Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at her home.
Pat was born Feb. 10, 1930, in Birch Tree. A college graduate, she received many awards during her employment in state and federal government.
She is survived by children, Duane, Patti, David and Pamela; and grandchildren, Jason Vivone, Megan Flucke and Grant Benton.

She was devoted to her family.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to service time Saturday at First Baptist Church of North Kansas City.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Charter Funerals in Kansas City is in charge of arrangements.
