CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Pat Glenzy, 80, daughter of the late Cornelius Nicholas Dannenmueller and Marie Josephine Jansen Dannenmueller was born on July 17, 1941, in Scott City and departed her life on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
On May 12, 1966, she was united in marriage to Terry Glenzy in Chaffee. He survives of the home in Chaffee.
She was a former surgical aid at Southeast Hospital and a member of the St. Ambrose Catholic Church where she sang in the choir. She was also a member of the Daughters of St. Ambrose, Morley V.F.W., and the lady Elks of Chaffee.
Besides her husband, survivors include one son, Craig (Jill) Glenzy of Kelso, Missouri; one daughter, Debbie (Dale) Patterson of Chaffee; four brothers, Jim Dannenmueller and Buddy Dannenmueller, both of Oran, Missouri, Mike Dannenmueller of Fulton, Missouri, and Mark Dannenmueller of Wappapello, Missouri; two sisters, Susie Melton of Wappapello and Carolyn Smith of Oran; three grandchildren, Garrett (Elizabeth) Patterson of Chaffee, Brent Glenzy and Ryan Glenzy, both of Kelso; two great-grandchildren, Avery Patterson and Logan Ray.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Glenzy and two brothers, Bill and Butch Dannenmueller.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee with a prayer service at 4 p.m.
Eucharistic Celebration will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Ambrose Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to Columbus Care Center in Sikeston, Missouri; Chaffee Public School Foundation; or Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis.
