ORAN -- Funeral service for Pat Eftink, Oran Route 1, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Guardian Angel Catholic Church. The Rev. Normand Varone will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home here after 2 p.m. Wednesday. The parish rosary will be at 7 p.m., and KC prayers at 7:30.

Eftink, 49, died Sunday, Aug. 15, 1993, at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Md.

She was born Nov. 1, 1943, at Oran, daughter of Claude Dallas and Tressie Mae Petty Shaffer. She and Jim A. Eftink were married July 8, 1961.

Eftink was Scott County circuit clerk three years, and had served as deputy circuit clerk 14 years. She was a member of Guardian Angel Church, St. Ann Sodality and Missouri Circuit Clerk Association.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, James, Keith and Terry Eftink of Oran; a daughter, Jamie Eftink of the home; two brothers, Dallas Shaffer of Morley, Lloyd Shaffer of Caruthersville, and four grandchildren.
