GRASSY, Mo. -- Pamela Diane Stratman, 56, of Grassy passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 25, 1959, in East Saint Louis, Illinois, the daughter of William E. and Shirley Jean Poe Walsh Sr. She and Darryl Stratman were united in marriage Oct. 27, 1976.
Pamela worked as a waitress for the 3-Way Cafe, Bond Nursing Home and The Sandwich Shop, and as a cook for Town and Country/the Deli and Woodland Steak House. In addition, she was a teller for Security Bank and The Bank of Missouri. She also served as a volunteer firefighter and was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include her husband, Darryl, of the home; a son, Darryl (Heather) Stratman Jr. of Grassy; a daughter, Jeannie James of Marble Hill, Missouri; four brothers, William E. Walsh Jr. of Valley Park, Missouri, Edward James Walsh of South Bend, Indiana, and John Anthony Walsh and Mark Anthony Walsh, both of Columbia, Illinois; three sisters, Dorothy Jane Hornacek and Linda Kay Mansfield of Waterloo, Illinois, and Mary Elizabeth Stephens of Marble Hill; and five grandchildren, Amber Jean James, Megan Marie Moore, Dimitri Lee James, Natalie Ann Smith and Ty Duane Stratman.
She was proceeded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael Joseph Walsh.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral service will be at 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Ritter officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help the family with expenses.
