OWEN FLOWERS

DELTA -- Owen Flowers, 77, of Delta died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Nov. 20, 1921, at Arbor, son of Isaac and Ella Williams Flowers. He and Virginia Rhodes were married Dec. 22, 1938, at Benton. She died June 3, 1996.

Flowers retired from Superior Electric, where he worked 44 years. He was a member of Arbor General Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Macke of Delta; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, and a granddaughter.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Vyron Yount officiating. Burial will be in Stroderville Cemetery at Whitewater.
