He was born Jan. 18, 1910, at Oran, son of August and Katie Schlosser. He and Thelma Bles were married Oct. 18, 1933.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Urban Schlosser of Arnold, Vernell Schlosser of Alexandria, Va., Arlan Schlosser of Arcadia; a sister, Anna Diebold of Oran; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
