JACKSON -- Otto L. Schwab, 79, of Jackson, died Monday, Nov. 13, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 2, 1916, at Dutchtown, son of Albert and Bertha Lange Schwab. He and Elsie Minnie Sievers were married April 14, 1940, at Tilsit. She died Oct. 30, 1978. He later married Allene C. Ehlers Feb. 28, 1981.
Schwab farmed on the family farm all his life. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, and served with the county Soil and Conservation Service a number of years.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, David and Roger Schwab of Jackson; a daughter, Joann Hilpert of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Alma Grebe and Elda Sperling of Jackson; two stepsons, Glen and Carl Ehlers of Cape Girardeau; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren, and three great-stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, two sisters and a brother.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
