Otto R. Goehman, 78, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
Otto was born Dec. 20, 1943, to Oscar "Pete" and Verna Duncan Goehman in Cape Girardeau. He and Rebecca Rubel were married in 1961 in Corinth, Mississippi. She survives.
He enjoyed fishing and playing guitar. He also enjoyed gunsmithing and shooting matches.
In addition to his loving wife, Otto is survived by two children, Matthew "Matt" Goehman and Jacqueline Qualls, both of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren, Tiffany (Chase) Wright of Bloomfield, Missouri, Tyler Goehman of Cape Girardeau, Blake Goehman of Austin, Texas, and Beth Goehman, Ellis Inman and Jennifer Wilkens, all of Cape Girardeau; brother, William Goehman of Paducah, Kentucky; sister, Delma Weiss of Gordonville; nephew and friend, Billy Goehman of Millersville; niece and friend, Tamela Jones of Cape Girardeau; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Otto was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings, Oscar Goehman, Robert "Bob" Goehman, Ernest Goehman and two infant sisters.
A memorial visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
