OTIS SEWING

PERRYVILLE -- Otis R. Sewing, 87, of Perryville died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, at Perry Oaks Manor.

He was born June 11, 1912, in Cape Girardeau County, son of Ferdinand and Laura Klaus Sewing. He and Trula Propst were married Feb. 20, 1938. She died Oct. 25, 1999.

Sewing was retired from Perry Crating. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Friedheim.

Survivors include a daughter, Katherine French of Perryville; a foster brother, Earl Sewing of Perryville; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a brother, a sister, and a foster sister.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4:30-8:30 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30-11 a.m.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Church at Friedheim. The Revs. David Burge and Wayne Palmer will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
