Otis B. Mouser, 87, of Cape Girardeau, died Tuesday, May 11, 1993, at the Lutheran Home.
He was born Oct. 1, 1905, at Miner, son of Benjamin and Della Knighton Mouser. He and Daisey Roxana Stephens were married June 16, 1937, at Sikeston.
Mouser was a farm laborer for George Bader in McClure, Ill., retiring in 1965.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Merlin and Rodger Mouser of Cape Girardeau, Stanley and Avery Mouser of McClure; two daughters, Ermal Briggs of McClure, Dora Briggs of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Amos Mouser of Belleville, Ill., Frank Mouser of Cahokia, Ill., Benjamin Mouser of St. Louis, Robert Mouser of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Rives Hochins of Francisco, Ind., Wilma Mainord of Cape Girardeau, Tilda Burton of St. Louis, Pearl Johnson of Pocahontas, Ark.; 14 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. Earl Cox will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Friday.
