OTIS AMIEL SHELL

ADVANCE -- Otis Amiel Shell, 93, of Advance died Nov. 7, 1992 a the St. Francis Medical Center.

He owned and operated Shell's Grocery in Advance for several years, and with a brother had operated a restaurant in Advance for 15 years.

He was born Feb. 4, 1999 in Dongola, Mo., the son of John W. and Della Greenwood Shell. He married Pearl Westbrook on April 5, 1934 near Advance. She preceded him in death on March 31, 1986.

He was a member of the Advance First Baptist Church and the Advance Masonic Lodge #590 AF&M.

He is survived by a foster son, Darrell Westbrook of Chesterfield, Mo.; two foster grandchildren, Carrie and Julie Westbrook, both of Chesterfield; and by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Morgan Chapel in Advance with the Rev. Clinton Wood Fin officiating. Interment will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
