Oscar L. Goehman, 73, 519 Sunset, died Monday, Dec. 12, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
He was born July 3, 1921, in Jackson, son of Otto William and Anna Oldham Goehman. He and Verna Duncan were married Nov. 4, 1938, in Cape Girardeau.
Goehman was a truck driver with Day Transfer Co., Arkansas Best Freight, and was at Wetterau 11 years, retiring in 1974. He was a member of Teamsters Local 574.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Ernest Goehman of DeSoto, Otto Goehman of Cape Girardeau, William Goehman of Paducah, Ky.; a daughter, Delma Weiss of Gordonville; a sister, Maxine McIntyre of Cape Girardeau; 13 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, two daughters, two grandsons, four brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Msgr. Edward Eftink officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
