OSCAR J. SCHLIMPERT

ALTENBURG -- Oscar J. Schlimpert, 91, of Altenburg, died Thursday, Sept. 22, 1994, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Sept. 19, 1903, at Altenburg, son of Jacob and Caroline Boeger Schlimpert. He and Lorna Schmidt were married April 30, 1933. She died Sept. 18, 1970.

Schlimpert was a farmer. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church here, had been an elder, trustee, and member of the Dart Ball Club.

Survivors include two sons, Milton and Ollie Schlimpert of Altenburg; three daughters, Marie Mohme of Florissant, Carolyn Schlimpert of St. Louis, Audrey Schubert of Jackson; 18 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three sons, a brother, and four sisters.

Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel from 2-9 p.m. Sunday, and on Monday from 6:30-8 a.m.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Willard Kassulke officiating.
