FROHNA - Former Frohna resident Oscar G. Boehme died Thursday, Jan. 17, 1991 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. He was 74.

He was born Sept. 7, 1916 in Wittenberg to Theodore and Laura Roth Boehme, who both preceded him in death.

A retired construction worker, he married Louise A. Koch June 17, 1950. She survives at the Lutheran Home.

Surviving are daughters Carol J. Lorenz of Shawneetown and Gail M. Weinkein of Perryville; brothers Herb and Edwin Boehme, both of St. Louis, Elmer Boehme of Whittenberg, and George Boehme of Pittsburgh, Penn.; sisters Hilda Bodenschatz of Old Appleton, and Sarah Roth, Irma Roth, Thelma Meisner, Paula Steffens, and Dorothy Steffens, all of St. Louis.

Also surviving are four grandchildren. One sister preceded him in death.

Boehme was a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna. He is a World War II Navy veteran and a member of VFW Post 4282 in Perryville.

Friends may call at Young & Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg after 5 p.m. today and until 11 a.m. Saturday. A VFW wake service will be held at 7 p.m. today.

Service will be held at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna at 1 p.m. Saturday, with Rev. Luther Herman officiating.
