EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Oscar Thomas Busby, 49, of East Prairie died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center after suffering a heart attack.
He was born Sept. 9, 1951, in Mississippi County, son of Benny Earl and Leona Wilson Busby. He had lived in East Prairie his entire life and was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church there.
Survivors include two brothers, Charles Mills and Ronnie Busby, both of East Prairie; and two sisters, Mildred Ritch and Linda Caldwell, both of East Prairie.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Monday at Freewill Baptist Church in East Prairie until time of services at 1 p.m. at the church, with Brother Richard Farquhar officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston, Mo.
Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.
