BLOOMFIELD -- Funeral service for Orville William Duncan of Bloomfield will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Kevin Eskew will officiate, with burial in Bloomfield Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
Duncan, 78 years old, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 1991, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 15, 1912, at Bloomfield, son of John William and Leecy Bolin Duncan. He and the former Goldie Bolin were married Feb. 15, 1936.
Duncan retired from General Motors Corp. in 1974. He was a member of Roosevelt Masonic Lodge in Detroit, Mich., and attended First General Baptist Church here.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Mike Duncan of Bloomfield; a brother, Nelson Duncan of Rochester Hills, Mich.; two half brothers, Churn Williams of Bloomfield and James Williams of Dyer, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by a half brother, Tobe Williams.
