PERRYVILLE -- Orval J. Favier of Perryville died March 7, 1993, at Perry County Memorial Hospital at age 82. He was born Nov. 18, 1910, in Perry County, the son of the late Vince and Florence Tucker Favier. He married Ruby Smith on July 25, 1931. She survives of Perryville...

PERRYVILLE -- Orval J. Favier of Perryville died March 7, 1993, at Perry County Memorial Hospital at age 82.

He was born Nov. 18, 1910, in Perry County, the son of the late Vince and Florence Tucker Favier. He married Ruby Smith on July 25, 1931. She survives of Perryville.

Also surviving are three sons, Robert Favier of St. Louis, James Favier of Perryville and Stephen "Puggy" Favier of Perryville; three daughters, Betty Hunt of Jackson, and Judith Hopfer and Susan Hoff, both of Perryville; one sister, Dorothy Mailliano of Perryville; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

One sister and five brothers preceded him in death.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryille.

A funeral Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.

Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.

Parish wake will be at 7 p.m. Monday.
