DELTA -- Orpha Mary Brown, 75, of Delta, died Wednesday, June 9, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Jan. 23, 1918, at Delta, daughter of Dave Willis and Dora Agnes Elfrank Dysinger. She and Robert Leonard Brown Sr. were married July 3, 1936. He died Dec. 18, 1983.
Brown was a member of First Baptist Church at Delta, and former member of Whitewater Order of Eastern Star 146.
Survivors include five sons, Dick Brown of Jackson, Ernest Brown of Delta, Frankie Brown of Perkins, Danny Brown of Scott City, David Brown of Springfield; six daughters, Wanda Alvey of Fairmount City, Ill., Margaret Thorne of Cape Girardeau, Phyllis Reigert and Donna McClard of Delta, Kathy Mouser of St. Peters, Linda Allmon of Jackson; two brothers, Elmer Dysinger of Delta, Truan Dysinger of Jackson; three sisters, Lona Burton of Memphis, Tenn., Dorothy Whitner of Jackson, Barbara Elledge of Ft. Smith, Texas; 27 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister and three grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Kenny Martin will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park at Advance.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee after 5 p.m. today.
