EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Orpa Lee Parker of East Prairie will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel here. Burl Britt will officiate, with burial in Anniston Cemetery.

Parker, 87, died Thursday, July 14, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Jan. 16, 1907, daughter of Will and Kate Elizabeth Zipp Bratcher. She and Charles Rudolph Parker were married Sept. 21, 1923, at Charleston. He died March 11, 1978.

Survivors include two sons, Charles "Billy" Parker of Granite City, Ill., Delbert Parker of Porterville, Calif.; four daughters, Fay Shands of East Prairie, Dathel Gersbacher of Collinsville, Ill., Dorothy Bard of Anniston, Pansy Atkinson of Shook; a brother, Walter Bratcher of East Prairie; a sister, Betty McLaughlin of Oxnard, Calif.; 41 grandchildren; 86 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers, two sisters, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
