GRAY RIDGE -- Ora Lee Moore, 83, of Gray Ridge died Wednesday, July 28, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born Sept. 24, 1915, at Morehouse, son of Samuel Blanton and Anna Earl Holland Moore. He and Goldie B. Lowery were married Sept. 26, 1942, at Morehouse.
Moore lived at Morehouse and Matthews before moving to Gray Ridge in 1942. He was a retired bridge and road construction worker. He was a member of Oneness United Pentecostal Church.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Eldon Moore of Benton, Ark., Jimmie Moore of Gray Ridge, Carroll Moore of Poplar Bluff; a brother, Loran Moore of Malden; a sister, Levern Smith of Poplar Bluff; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Jimmie Vent will officiate. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.
