ORAN -- Ora Dean Prindle, 85, of Oran died Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 23, 1912, at Vanduser, daughter of Ralph and Martha Thompson Wilson.
She married Ernest Prindle on Dec. 16, 1929. He survives.
She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Oran. She also held memberships in the United Methodist Women, the Oran Sunshine Club and the auxiliaries of Chaffee VFW Post 3127 and Chaffee American Legion.
She is survived by a son, Gary Prindle of Sikeston; a sister, Cora Hawkins of Medford, Ore., five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, two brothers and a sister.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Trinity United Methodist Church in Oran, with the Rev. Bennie Wiley officiating. Burial will be at the Old Morley Cemetery at Morley.
