OPAL SIPES

SIKESTON -- Opal Sipes, 81, of Sikeston, died Thursday, April 28, 1994, at her home.

She was born Jan. 8, 1912, in Wappapello, daughter of Oscar and Zadie Bazor. She and Buford Sipes were married in 1935. He died in 1953.

Sipes attended First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include a son, Bobby Sipes of St. Ann, and a sister, Virgie Bess of Sikeston.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Garden of Memories Cemetery, with the Rev. Dan Stoffell officiating.
