Opal Rose

WAPPAPELLO, Mo. -- Opal L. "Billie" Rose, 82, of Wappapello and formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Rose was born Nov. 8, 1922, at Advance, Mo., daughter of Albert W. and Della M. Fields Revelle. She was a charter member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary 3416.

Survivors include her husband, Elgie "Bill" Rose; a sister, Aileen Culp of Littleton, Colo.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren;

She was preceded in death by her parents, three children and a great-grandchild.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Wappapello, with the Rev. Don Bates officiating. Burial will be in Little Brushy Cemetery in Wappapello.
