OPAL M. ABBOTT

CHAFFEE -- Opal M. Abbott, 80, of Chaffee, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 1993, at the Advance Nursing Care Center in Advance.

She was born July 27, 1913, at Morley, Mo., daughter of John and Martha Carter Woods.

She married Lester Abbott in 1964, at Eminence, Mo. He died in October 1979.

Abbott was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Chaffee.

Survivors include a son, James Gilliland of Memphis, Tenn.; a daughter, Evelin Estes of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Helen Harris of the state of Washington; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. to the time of the funeral services today at the Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel in Jackson.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel in Jackson, with the Rev. Karl Leeman officiating.

Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
