MARBLE HILL -- Opal Irene Jordan, 57, of Marble Hill, died Thursday, Oct. 19, 1995, at her home.
She was born Sept. 6, 1938, in Braggs, Okla., daughter of Charley and Bea James Tooman. She and Henry Jordan were married Nov. 10, 1957. He died Nov. 2, 1987.
Jordan was a member of Community Church near Marble Hill.
Survivors include two sons, Henry and Wendell Jordan of Marble Hill; five daughters, Kathy Jordan and June Sitze of Marble Hill, Charlotte Warner of Glen Allen, Betty Herzog of Granby, Colo., Judy Jordan of Sedgewickville; a stepson, Clifford Hertensen of Marquand; a stepdaughter, Etta Deets of Glen Allen; three brothers, Bob Tooman of Glen Allen, Bill Tooman of Cascade, John Cureton of Marble Hill; two sisters, Dovey Loughary of Marble Hill, Wilma Mills of Marquand; 23 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and granddaughter.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 4 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Diana Cook, Gene Robbins and Charley Hovis officiating. Burial will be in Grassy Cemetery at Grassy.
