FRIEDHEIM -- Funeral service for Opal D. Hahs of Friedheim will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. The Rev. Mary Waudby will officiate, with burial in Sargent's Chapel Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Hahs, 74, died Wednesday, March 23, 1994, at Jackson Manor.
She was born Sept. 6, 1919, near Lixville, daughter of Chris and Hester Seabaugh Deimund. She and John F. Hahs were married Dec. 14, 1945, at Friedheim.
Hahs worked in the fitting department at International Shoe Co. in Perryville more than 20 years, retiring in 1979. She was a member of Sargent's Chapel Church.
Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Judy Stone and Carolyn Hahs of Friedheim, Dorothy Bollinger of Jackson, Kathy Gibbar of Perryville; a brother, Henry Deimund of Jackson; five sisters, Mary Schmidt and Goldie Meurer of St. Louis, Zeta Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau, Bertha Grindstaff of New Douglas, Ill., Leola Fadler of Jackson; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sons.
