ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral for Opal V. Brimm of Anna will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. The Rev. Jimmy Keller and Kevin Bourland will officiate. Burial will be in Casper Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, and Monday until time of service.
Brimm, 92, died Thursday, March 14, 2002, at Union County Hospital.
She was born Feb. 19, 1910, at Anna, daughter of Samuel S. and Minnie Susan Moak Murphy. She and Manford James Brimm were married July 22, 1930, in Anna. He died Aug. 4, 1993.
Brimm was a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include a son, Jack Brimm of Anna; two daughters, Peggy Bourland of Joplin, Mo., Janice Garner of Anna; a sister, Gladys Hankla of Chardon, Ohio; a brother, Patrick Murphy of Chico, Calif.; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, four sisters and two brothers.
