LONGTOWN -- Oneida Emma Popp, 87, of Longtown died Sunday, Dec. 29, 1996, at the Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville. She was born Dec. 22, 1909, in Longtown, daughter of Adolph and Clara Hacker Funke. She married Rueben A. Popp on Dec. 25, 1938. He died Nov. 30, 1985...

LONGTOWN -- Oneida Emma Popp, 87, of Longtown died Sunday, Dec. 29, 1996, at the Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville.

She was born Dec. 22, 1909, in Longtown, daughter of Adolph and Clara Hacker Funke. She married Rueben A. Popp on Dec. 25, 1938. He died Nov. 30, 1985.

She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown.

She is survived by a brother, Ernest Funke of Perryville.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown, with the Rev. Paul Winningham officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Cemetery.
