PULASKI, Ill. - Oma Mary Jones, 86, of Pulaski,Ill., died Saturday, Jan. 9, 1993, at the Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis, Ill.
She was born Feb. 20, 1906, in Grand Chain, Ill., daughter of Charile and Kate Heisner Grubbs.
She married Samuel N. Jones. He died June 22, 1979.
She lived her entire life in Grand Chain. She was a member of the Ohio Chapel Methodist Church in Grand Chain.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Charles L. and Jeanette Jones of Pulaski; three grandsons, Bobby Jones and Ricky Jones, both of Pulaski, Randy Paul Jones of Villa Ridge, Ill.; two brothers, David Grubbs of Christopher, Ill., Glynn Grubbs of Waterford, Calif.; a sister, Marie Krigsheuser of Karnak, Ill.; several nieces and nephews, four great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, a brother and a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Jones.
Friends may call at the First Christian Church in Pulaski after 4 p.m. today.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Christian Church with the Rev. William Winters officiating.
Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery in Grand Chain.
The Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, Ill., is handling all funeral arrangements.
