Oma L. Crites, 70, of Marble Hill died Sunday, July 4, 1999, at home.
She was born Nov. 6, 1928, near Lutesville, daughter of Wilson E. and Jattie Eaker Wiseman. She and G.L. Jerry Crites were married Dec. 9, 1945.
Crites and her husband owned and operated the J & O Service Station in Marble Hill prior to retiring. She attended First Baptist Church of Marble Hill and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary of Marble Hill.
Shew is survived by her husband; two daughters, Brenda Thele of Jackson, Belinda Brown of Marble Hill; three brothers, Leo W. Wiseman of Apache Junction, Ariz., Charley "Pete" Wiseman of Marble Hill, Jack Wiseman of Effingham, Ill.; two sisters, Verona Jacobs of Harvard, Ill., Ruby Nanney of Marble Hill; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Fred Ritter and Dr. John Englehart will officiate, with burial in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
