CHAFFEE -- Ollie Raymond Carroll, 63, of Chaffee died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 1997, at his home. He was born Aug. 4, 1934, at Chaffee, son of James Edward and Amanda Marie Willie Carroll. He and Jo Ann Kinder were married Feb. 5, 1969. Carroll had been a truck driver with Atlas Plastics in Cape Girardeau. He retired three years ago as a truck driver with Supervalu in Scott City. CHAFFEE -- Ollie Raymond Carroll, 63, of Chaffee died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 1997, at his home.

He was born Aug. 4, 1934, at Chaffee, son of James Edward and Amanda Marie Willie Carroll. He and Jo Ann Kinder were married Feb. 5, 1969.

Carroll had been a truck driver with Atlas Plastics in Cape Girardeau. He retired three years ago as a truck driver with Supervalu in Scott City. He was a member of Teamsters Local 574 in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Fred Carroll of Chaffee; a stepson, David Miller of St. Louis; two brothers, Lloyd "Duke" and Eugene Carroll of Chaffee; two grandchildren; and a stepgrandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and a sister.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Joe Payne officiating. Burial will be in Belk Hill Cemetery at Rockview.
