JONESBORO, Ill. -- Olive Walker, 81, of Jonesboro, died Friday, Dec. 4, 1998, at her home. She was born in Lone Rock, Wis., March 30, 1917. On Oct. 30, 1943, she married Glen E. "Red" Walker in Richland, Wis. He preceded her in death. She was employed in assembly and testing for Fairbanks and Morris in Wisconsin for several years. She was a lifetime member of the United Steel Workers and a member of the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro...

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Olive Walker, 81, of Jonesboro, died Friday, Dec. 4, 1998, at her home.

She was born in Lone Rock, Wis., March 30, 1917.

On Oct. 30, 1943, she married Glen E. "Red" Walker in Richland, Wis. He preceded her in death.

She was employed in assembly and testing for Fairbanks and Morris in Wisconsin for several years. She was a lifetime member of the United Steel Workers and a member of the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro.

She is survived by a son, Tommy Walker of Anna; three brothers, Verlin Walker of Avoca, Wis., Otho Walker of Shullburg, Wis., and Eldon Walker of Markesan, Wis.; two sisters, Evelyn Mueller of Lone Rock and Ruby Dessele of Houston, Texas.

Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Hileman and Parr Funeral Services chapel in Jonesboro. The Rev. Jerry Ford will officiate. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.
