Olive King

MOREHOUSE, Mo. -- Olive A. King, 84, of Morehouse died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2002, at Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston, Mo.

She was born March 8, 1918, at Miner, Mo., daughter of Charles and Nettie Fisher Turner. She and Allen "Bud" King were married Dec. 23,1935, in Sikeston. He died June 1, 2000.

King was a member of Rauch-Spence Memorial United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Charles King of Owasso, Okla.; a sister, Johnsy Holt of Sikeston; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three half-brothers and two half-sisters.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Marty Blakey officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
