CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Funeral service for Mrs. Olga M. Schultz, 1323 N. Spanish, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson. The Rev. Carl Richardson will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5:30 p.m. today.

Mrs. Schultz, 84 years old, died Monday, Dec. 17, 1990, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Oct. 10, 1906, at New Wells, daughter of Joseph and Mary Roth Hoffman. She married Fred Schultz April 11, 1926, who died Feb. 6, 1984.

The couple farmed several years in the New Wells area. She did custodial work at Mary Institute in Ladue and at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Olivette a number of years. They moved to Cape in 1971 from St. Louis. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church here.

Survivors include three sons, Vernon Schultz of High Springs, Fla., Merlin Schultz of Jackson, Gerald Schultz of Bridgeton; two daughters, Edna Stueve of Perryville, Juanita Hays of St. Peters; 18 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons, three grandchildren and a sister.
