Oletta B. Cole of Farmington, passed away on January 19, 1999, at the Fleur De Lis Nursing Center. She was born on July 10, 1911, in Highland, MO, the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (Fleming) Blaylock. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Walter O. Goehring, and her second husband, Wilbur J. Cole, by two brothers, Chester Blaylock and Everett Blaylock, and by one sister, Iona Brown. She was 87 years of age.
Before her retirement, she was a homemaker. She was member of the Saint Andrew Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.
She is survived by one son, W. Richard Goehring and wife Dorothy of Reynoldsburg, OH, by two grandsons, Rick Goehring of Gambier, OH, Jeff Goehring and wife Susan of Zoar, OH, by one great-granddaughter, Lila Goehring, by two sisters, Marjorie Hildebrand of Cape Girardeau, Tressie Randol of Jackson, by one brother, Larry Blaylock, of OFallon, and by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 23, 1999, at the Christian Faith Fellowship Church at 4250 State Highway K, Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Mark Carbaugh officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Cozean Funeral Home in Farmington, MO.
